You may also know that there are several things you’ll need to do if you’d like to keep your little ones teeth healthy. For instance, you may also know that you need to brush their pearly whites and start flossing once they’re baby teeth start to touch each other. However, would you be surprised to learn that you should also take your little one to their very first dental appointment when they turn one?

As you may already be aware, your child may not enjoy visiting the dentist. You see, this is one of the major reasons we recommend visiting our dental office when your child is young. Most children won’t need any dental treatments, however, they can become much more comfortable with visiting a dental office.

Still, there are a quite a few things you may be able to do to help your child with their first dental check-up. You may even want to talk to your little one about visiting the dentist for the first time. Some children respond well to books or videos to help your little one understand what to expect during these visits. After your visits, you may also want to reward your child.
