NikkiNikki – Registered Dental Hygienist
Nikki has been a registered and practicing dental hygienist since 2008. She has practiced at Davidson Cosmetic and Family Dentistry with Dr. Wilhite since 2016 when she moved here from West Virginia. She enjoys giving her patients the information and tools they need to achieve good oral health.

When she is not in the office, Nikki enjoys traveling with her husband, Josh, and daughter. Her family loves going to Disney, most recently visiting DisneyLand Paris. She and her family hope to visit all the Disney parks worldwide together some day! Some unknown facts about Nikki are that she is lefthanded and her favorite color is purple, which fits nicely with our office colors.

Edie Campbell – Dental Assistant II
Edie Campbell has been dedicated to the field since 1994. Born and raised in Charlotte, Edie graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 1994 and is preparing to begin teaching there in the dental assisting program. Additionally, she served on the dental assisting advisory committee for CPCC for 10 years. With a strong passion for learning, educating and mentoring, Edie is particularly passionate about guiding young women who are transitioning from adolescence to adulthood.

Edie has always had a love for dentistry and knew from a young age that she wanted to work in a dental office. While teeth are the focal point of her job, it is the people that truly inspire her. She enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level, ensuring they feel safe and well cared for. In terms of her work, one of Edie’s strongest skills is anticipating what the doctor may need before he even asks for it. The moments when the doctor is looking for an instrument, and it is already in her hand, always bring her a sense of pride and humor.

Edie has three grown children who are the center of her world: a daughter living outside of Raleigh and twin sons in Charlotte. She is also a proud grandmother to two dogs and two cats with her daughter and one dog with her son. After years of being a busy mom and working full-time, Edie decided to offer babysitting services in her spare time, giving parents the opportunity to enjoy date nights, knowing their children are in trusted hands.

Three years ago, Edie moved to Mooresville and has had the pleasure of connecting with several amazing families who keep her busy. In her free time, Edie enjoys traveling to both the mountains and the beach, where she can hike, find waterfalls or relax by the ocean. She also loves going to concerts, playing music bingo at local breweries and engaging in small art projects. Her biggest passion, however, is photography, especially capturing the beauty of sunrises and sunsets. For Edie, these simple moments of beauty are often overlooked but deeply cherished.
